Big Changes Happening

October has come and gone. What a busy month it was, too. I have been able to host two great leadership conferences L2: Learn – Lead in Atlanta and Pensacola. In addition I have closed my practice in Pensacola and am moving on to bigger and better things!

I am moving full time into my speaking and coaching businesses in order to give them the attention they deserve. It is my passion to help people live healthier so that they can have the best quality of life possible and get the most out of their potential. I have developed the 6 Keys to Total Wellness program that focuses on the main areas of our lives that need to be addressed in order to achieve total wellness.

Key 1: Mental

If we don’t have our minds right, we won’t be able to succeed anywhere else. I start with addressing the roadblocks most people set up in their mind and help them overcome.

Key 2: Nutrition

There are lots of fad diets out there that over-promise and under-deliver. My goal is to teach people how to eat healthy and simply while avoiding the common food myths.

Key 3: Exercise

Ignore the gimmicks of products that don’t work or videos that say they will get you fit in 5 minutes a day. Those things are a waste of time and money. I get people started on a program that will help them achieve their goals, and that they can stick to long-term.

Key 4: Rest

Burning both ends of the candle won’t cut it. If you don’t get enough sleep, you won’t be able to maximize your full potential.

Key 5: Environment

A clean, uncluttered environment is great for decreasing stress and increasing creativity. I teach people how to improve their environment in practical ways.

Key 6: Relationships

Relationships affect us in many ways. Our friends, family, and co-workers all impact our stress levels, our mood, and thus our overall health. I teach people ways to improve these relationships.

There are many great things to come as I launch into the next phase of my career. I look forward to continuing to serve people with my medical expertise, but in a new way. I will help them prevent illness instead of just treating symptoms. I will help them achieve their maximum potential.
